Eligibility Criteria	Promotion: Documentation Assistant with five years experience. Deputation/Short-term Contract: Officials from Central Govt. or Autonomous Bodies or Universities who are: Holding analogous posts on regular basis; or Holding posts in Level – 6 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC with five years regular service; and possessing the following qualifications: Master’s Degree with 50% marks in any Social Science from a recognized University or equivalent. Degree in Library Science or equivalent qualifications.
Notes	Period of deputation (including short term contract) shall ordinarily not exceed four years.
